Where our numbers come from
We use only official sources: notifications from exam bodies (such as SSC, UPSC, RRB, IBPS, NTA and CBSE), orders from government departments (such as the Department of Expenditure), and regulations published by the UGC and universities. We do not copy tables, predictions or text from coaching institutes or other websites.
Every page lists its sources, with links, and the date its rules were last checked.
How pages are written
Pages and calculator code are drafted with the help of AI tools. A person does not review every page before it goes live. Instead, every rule, rate and figure is checked against the official source linked on the page before it is published, and the calculators are tested against the worked examples printed in those official documents wherever they exist.
Automated checks
- Every data file must name its official source and the date it was checked, or the site will not build.
- Every calculator has automated tests, including the official examples and boundary cases such as the exact cut-off date.
- Worked examples on each page are produced by the calculator itself, so the page and the tool cannot disagree.
- Data older than 60 days is flagged for a fresh check against the source.
Estimates, not official results
Our results are estimates to help you plan. Official marks, pay and eligibility are always decided by the authority that publishes them. When the official figure differs from ours, the official figure is correct.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, please tell us through the contact page, with a link to the official source if you can. We check every report against the source and correct the page, updating its "Last updated" date.
Advertising and independence
The site may show advertising and include clearly labelled affiliate links. Advertisers and affiliates have no say over our content or results, and ads are never placed inside or next to the calculator inputs or results.
