This page describes exactly what the site currently loads. We will update it before adding anything new.

What you type into calculators

Calculations run entirely in your browser. The numbers and dates you enter (such as grades, pay or date of birth) are not sent to us and are not stored by us.

What the site currently uses

  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-15S3QG1G6C), added on 28 September 2026. It is the only third-party service on the site.
  • No advertising. The site does not currently show ads.
  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting server records basic request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.

What Google Analytics collects

It records that a page was viewed and some details about the visit: the page address, the referring page, approximate location derived from the IP address (city level, not a street address), the device, browser and operating system, and how long the visit lasted. When a calculator shows you a result after you have entered something, it also records that a result was shown on that page, as an event named calculate, at most once per calculator per page visit. That event says only that it happened. It sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_<id>, which hold a randomly generated number so that repeat visits are counted as one person rather than several. Google states that it does not store the full IP address for Google Analytics 4.

What it does not collect. The numbers you type into a calculator are never sent to it. Nothing you enter — a date of birth, a basic pay figure, your marks — leaves your browser, because every calculation runs on your own device. We do not send Google your name, email address or any identifier of you, and we do not use Analytics to build advertising audiences.

How to opt out

Turning on "Do Not Track" or a similar setting in your browser, using a content blocker, or installing Google's ownAnalytics opt-out add-on will stop the measurement. Blocking it does not affect any calculator on this site: every tool works with the analytics script blocked, because none of them depends on it.

If we add anything else

Before we add another service, such as Google AdSense, we will update this policy to name it, explain what it collects, and give you any choices required by law. This page is the record of everything the site loads.

Why there is so little to say

The site is a set of static files. There is no account to create, no login, no newsletter and no form that asks who you are. Because every calculation runs in your browser, the site has no need for the numbers you type and no way to see them: a date of birth entered into an age calculator never leaves the page, and closing the tab is enough to be rid of it. Nothing you enter is written to storage on your device either, so a shared or public computer keeps no record of it. The analytics above measures which pages are read and whether a calculator was used; it does not see what you type into them.

What leaves your browser

The requests needed to display the page — the HTML, the stylesheet, the fonts and the images — are all served from this site's own domain. The one request that goes elsewhere is the Google Analytics script described above, which tells Google that a page was viewed. Apart from that there are no social widgets, no comment system, no video players and no advertising scripts. Links to official websites are ordinary links: they are followed only when you click them, and the site you go to then applies its own privacy policy, not this one.

Server logs, and how long they are kept

The hosting provider records ordinary web-server logs — the requesting IP address, the time, the page asked for and the browser's user-agent string — which are used to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and are not combined with anything else or used to build a profile of you.
