What was the general category cut off for UKPSC PCS 2024?
For the combined posts, the unreserved cut off to reach the interview was 282 marks, and the unreserved final cut off for Naib Tehsildar was 379 marks.
Why are the two tables so different?
The first counts only the Main Examination and decides who was called for interview. The second adds the interview marks, so those totals are higher.
How are ties broken?
Under the service rules for the post; where those rules are silent, under Part 10, point 14 of the UKPSC Examination Result Preparation Process Regulations, 2022 (as amended).
Why do some categories show no marks?
The commission recorded that no eligible candidate was available in that category, so there is no cut off to publish.
Will the same cut off apply to the 2026 examination?
No. A cut off moves every year with the number of posts, the number of candidates and how hard the paper was. This page shows the official figures for the 2024 examination only.
