How UKSSSC recruitment works

The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission recruits for Group C posts, and one advertisement usually covers many different posts across several departments at once. That is why the pay level and the age limit both vary inside a single advertisement: most posts start at 18, while some Junior Assistant posts and Store Keeper start at 21.

Age is counted on the crucial date printed in the advertisement, not on the day you apply. Relaxation is given only to candidates domiciled in Uttarakhand — candidates from other states can apply in the unreserved category only — and where you fall into more than one category the relaxations are not added together.
