Before you choose posts
- Post preferences decide your pay level, so rank higher-level posts first only if you meet their conditions.
- Some posts (Inspectors in CBIC and CBN, Sub-Inspectors in CBI, NIA and NCB, and others) need physical and medical standards. The notification says a candidate who fails them for an allotted post is rejected.
- Age limits differ by post. Check yours with the SSC CGL age limit calculator.
