Three things to work out before you apply
Whether you are eligible. Age is counted on 1 August 2025, not on the day you apply, so a birthday after that date does not count. The limit is 18–25 years and 18–27 years, and the notice sets out 8 categories that can raise the upper limit. The age limit calculator checks your date of birth against that range and applies one relaxation at a time.
What your answer sheet is worth. Session I (no negative marking) has 40 questions for 120 marks, with nothing taken off for a wrong answer. Session II (1 mark negative) has 50 questions for 150 marks, with 1 off for a wrong answer. The marks calculator works the score out section by section from the official answer key.
What the post pays. The posts sit in Level 1 of the 7th Pay Commission matrix, so entry basic pay starts at ₹18,000 before Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance. The salary calculator adds those at the rates in force and shows the in-hand figure.
